40kW COMPACT DC
Compact DC Charging Where AC Is Too Slow and Large Fast Chargers Are Unnecessary.
A practical 40kW single-connector platform for hotels, retail, offices, dealerships and commercial sites that need faster turnaround without a large charging footprint.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Compact DC for Commercial Sites That Need Faster Turnaround.
The 40kW platform is positioned between AC destination charging and larger public fast-charging systems. It is intended for sites where vehicles need a meaningful energy top-up during a shorter stay, while installation footprint and site power still matter.

Typical Applications
Hotels & Hospitality
For guests who need a faster top-up than typical AC destination charging during a limited stay.
Retail & Commercial
For retail parks, office sites and mixed-use properties where charging supports customers or tenants.
Dealerships
For vehicle handover, demonstration and customer charging where moderate DC power can shorten turnaround.
Installation Formats
Wall-mounted, pedestal and selected mobile-base configurations can be discussed depending on the project. Final installation format, cable routing, protection and site electrical requirements should be confirmed against the selected product configuration.
Why 40kW?
For many commercial sites, the value comes from balancing charging speed, electrical capacity, installation cost and expected utilization rather than simply selecting the highest available power.

Safety & Configuration Options
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Voltage / current protection | Over / undervoltage, overcurrent |
| Short-circuit protection | Supported |
| Insulation / earth monitoring | Supported |
| Reverse polarity / overtemperature | Protected |

Firmware upgrade support to OCPP 2.0x, OTA updates, Plug & Charge, smart charging and power management are configuration- and compatibility-dependent. Optional power transfer requires a compatible two-charger arrangement; cable current, voltage and vehicle demand still limit charging power. GB/T communication follows the listed 2015 GB/T standards. Electrical standards listed include EN IEC 61851-1, EN IEC 61851-23, EN 61851-24 and EN IEC 61851-21-2 Class A. Request configuration-specific compliance documents and shipping weight with the quotation.
What We Need Before Quotation

Frequently Asked Questions
When Does 40kW Make Sense?
It suits sites where AC charging is too slow for the available dwell time but a larger public fast charger would add unnecessary power, footprint or cost.
Can It Be Installed on a Wall or Pedestal?
Wall-mounted, pedestal and selected mobile-base arrangements can be discussed, but the available format depends on the exact product selected for the project.
Which Connector Should Be Used?
The connector should be selected around the vehicle population and target market. Final connector, cable length and current rating are confirmed with the specific product configuration.
What Information Is Needed for a Quote?
Target market, input voltage, connector, installation format, communication requirement, expected quantity, branding needs and any certification requirement should be confirmed first.
